We follow suggested Principles:
Within Overeaters Anonymous (OA), we follow suggested principles to ensure the survival and growth of the many groups that compose OA. One of our principles – neutrality – stems from Tradition Ten which states that OA has no opinion on outside issues; hence, the OA name ought never be drawn into public controversy. And we Work Alongside You!
OA works alongside many like you, complementing your recommendations. What OA offers is an ongoing support system for members that encourages them to help one another – thereby weakening their isolation and loneliness. In OA, we have experienced that we get better together.
