WHERE ARE OA MEETINGS AND EVENTS HELD?

You will find many face-to-face OA meetings and events in a variety of locations all around Santa Clara County – wherever OA is able to find adequate and affordable space and seating to hold a meeting. Meetings are often held at local hospitals, spiritual centers, schools, or other available venues that are affordable, conveniently located, or easily accessible to our diverse members.

Whenever OASV meetings incur space costs, we follow the 7th Tradition to cover that rental fee and other meeting group expenses, such as literature, coffee and tea, as well as insurance coverage. These cost are covered by our member contributions as defined by the 7th Tradtion which states “Every group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.”

While we invite our OA group meeting members to contribute $5 to help cover meeting expenses, no one is ever turned away. We only contribute to our level of ability. Please don't hesitate to attend because of modest means. We are happy to have you and encourage you to keep coming back!

Newcomers are invited to attend their first few meetings for free. 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many of OA Silicon Valley's meetings moved online and continue to remain online to per the vote of our members.

A selection of meetings have returned to the in-person format. One meeting - Wednesday, noon to 1 pm - is a “hybrid” meeting where some members are attending in-person and the balance of the group joins via an online connection.

There are in-person Spanish language meetings as well as online meetings.
